It's still early in the process, but just thinking of backup plan, I was just wondering what are things you can do to increase the odds on the next cycle should one reapply again?

retake the DAT, apply earlier, improve essays, post bac work or masters..the list goes on, but you should do whats best for you, you know where your app needs improvement. it will be different for everyone who applies for a second cycle.

I'll be applying next year for the first time and I want to hear from people out there with similar stats that applied early (May-Jun 15) and who have interviews...come on don't be shy.

your scores on dat are one point higher than mine in each section, but my gpa is higher; so i would say we are comparable.

the thing you need to look at is not just your overall dat, but individual scores. some schools have minimums in each section. if you do not meet the minimum it will not matter if your overall is higher than there average. if you do not want to retake the dat, but you do have one or two scores that are low, you need to just research to find out which schools have a minimum and which ones do not.

i know you can do it, i have had two interviews so far.

good luck.
