I'm not too familiar with this but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say your step 1 scores, LORs, and research still play a larger role than your step 3 score
I don't think having a Step 3 score will matter for the actual Match process during internship. You will need it though, if you're going to do a research fellowship after internship as many of them require getting your own medical license - which requires USMLE Step 3. In that case, all your scores will show.
