hi guys
i was wondering if you have to resend recommendation letters when u reapply. and does it look bad if it's from the same professors/optometrist? just planning ahead if this year doesn't work out....please let me know

hey, i dont think you need to send in all your letters again if you reapply next year. I think you only need to send in 1 new letter from a different professor. Hope this helps.

I withdrew from PCO. Was told I only needed to re-submit the application and application fee if I wanted to apply again. All reference letters, OAT scores, if not expired, and transcripts are carried over, but you do need to send an updated transcript if you took more courses.

They will hold on to the original letters you sent the year before. Also...if you do get letters from the same professor, make sure it's only "one". It should be a person you have made significant contributions with or have worked with within the next year. Also, get a letter from an O.D. Try and work with one this upcoming year. New letters will show you have expressed your interest to more than one professor/O.D. etc. Good luck.

Does anyone even read the letters that are sent in? I had all required letters sent in, but never heard anything about them other than that they were received. I don't really see the purpose of that. I wouldn't ask a teacher who's class I got a bad grade in to write a recommendation letter for me.
