I've been trying to get a rec letter from a doctor I scribed with for over a year and a half and it's crucial I get it because it was one of my meaningful experiences.
He wrote me the rec letter, however, he texted it to me in a regular text message. I have been on him about if he could make it into a pdf/word doc, attaching a letterhead, and his signature. After several attempts, I decided to do the letter on my own.
I basically just added a makeshift letterhead showing his name and personal info (phone and email) and copied his rec letter from the text into a word document. I had him send me a picture of his signature so I could also attach it to the letter.
With this, I just wanted to get opinions on if this type of rec letter would be acceptable by medical schools?
