Go! I just got back from an interview this Thursday and was accepted Friday. Even if there is a waitlist. When a school really likes you they will accept you! Go and make an impression.
I gave up the prospective of receiving additional interviews.
Then, I got invited to go to a UDM interview. I'm conflicted about if I should go or not.
I'm an out-of-state resident. I would have gone to a UDM interview had it been earlier (February or even March), but it's already April...I know I will probably be interviewing for a waitlist spot. I heard it's a good dental school though so I have nothing against the school. I'm just not sure how I feel about Michigan because I'm somewhat partial to warm weather.
I am not accepted anywhere. =/... Waitlisted at a couple schools.
Applied late. I feel my stats are decent to get accepted (if the competition was earlier), but I worry about my chances since it is later on into the cycle and I have to compete against other people for an acceptance even if I get waitlisted. I don't think my stats will stand out this late on. Is it worth using all this money to go? The pro is that it might be a good experience if I don't get in, and I have experience interviewing at this school for next cycle.
Any advice?
