Hi,

I'm new to all this and just picked up a copy of the MSAR... There I found numbers of resident and non-resident applicants, and then matriculation numbers. I can take the time to calculate matriculation percentages by resident/non-resident myself, but I'm thinking someone must have already done this for the most recent data...

The MSAR didn't list acceptance numbers. I'm wondering if there's any information on this site (I already searched but maybe missed it!) or elsewhere that lists the US med schools' PERCENTAGES of accepted students out of total applicants, separated by residents and non-residents...

any info/links?

Thanks so much!

i was hoping to find a chart I could at least use excel on to run the numbers rather than doing it by hand...

thanks for the link - I'll crunch the numbers if I get really curious!

anyone else have info on acceptance or matriculation percentages rather than just numbers?

If you want REAL numbers for acceptances (ie the number of admission offers the school actually made, which is always more than the number of seats in the class), pay $14.95 for online access to the USNews med school rankings. Then put the numbers in a spreadsheet and calculate the percentages yourself.
