Would it be appropriate if I received Rec Letters from 2 physics profs as my 2 science rec letters. One taught me for Intro to Physics, the other one taught me for calc based physics. Thanks.

Some schools do specify that letter writers have to teach certain subjects, and some schools require a letter from your major. However, I think 2 physics will be fine unless schools actually specify. Your best bet is to search each schools requirements.

Seems to me that you should want to provide the broadest possible characterization of your ability to embrace concepts and your critical thinking skills in the sciences. Do you have no other options?
