What would you do when you are getting ready to apply to an international dental program, you are living in the States, and have been away from the home country for years, and you need to get recommendation letters from faculty members in the old school, whom most of them left teaching, almost impossible to locate, specially when you are in a different continent, and even if you find them, they really may not remember .... 🙁
And even if you manage to get one or two strong letters, what are you gonna do with the rest, another one or two more letters.... are dental schools here ususally flexible in these cases, will they settle for anything less than what is mentioned in the requirements or bringing letters from other persons, like employers ?
This is my situation right now...
Any ideas ?
