I was just wondering if there are any people who are NOT sending their recommendation letters through AADSAS. I know there are some schools that specifically state whether they want the recommendation letters sent right after AADSAS is submitted or if they want it with the secondary applications. But there are some schools that don't say anything about the recommendation letters. Does this mean that they assume you're sending them through AADSAS? Should I call each school to ask them what they want? I'm really confused about this, and so far nobody I've talked to has a confident answer. Thanks in advance for the help! 🙂

i applied to 24 schools and sent my letters through AADSAS and none of the schools said that they didn't recieve them or preferred them sent individually. my advice would be to send your letters through AADSAS to the schools. If you are still worried, resend the letters individually.

But don't wait to submit your application before you get your letters. They start reviewing applications before the letters are in.

No school will have a problem with you sending your letters through AADSAS. Some schools may require them before your application is considered complete, so I would not wait until you receive secondaries before sending them in.

Also, DO NOT rely on the AADSAS table of supplemental materials. Most, if not all, dental schools have a page on their website that lists the requirements for applying, including the specific number and types of letters. I made the mistake of just looking at the table, but my #1 school had changed the requirements (2 extra letters!) and these weren't reflected on the table, only on their website. It significantly delayed my application, but luckily everything worked out! It's just always best to double-check.
