Brief stats. 3.33c with upward trend 3.7 junior and 3.95 senior year. MCAT 511, clinical 800 EMT, volunteering 590, 2k employed hours(non-medical) during undergrad. URM and spent a portion of childhood growing up outside of U.S, so I have used that for some good secondaries reflections.

Any recommendations for more schools to add would be helpful thankful!

Schools I applied to already:

MD:

Nova southeastern

EVMS

Miami

Jefferson

Rosalind

Wayne

VT

Drexel

GW

Temple

Albert Einstein

Rush

NYMC

Penn

VCU

DO:

NYIT

Michigan

VCOM

PCOM

OU-HCOM

Einstein was a donation. Ditto for "Penn" if it was U Penn and not Penn State. If the former and not the latter, add the latter.

What ethnicity are you? If Hispanic, please clarify. Do you have service to communities of color?

Add some more DO schools, just not the ones on my Bad Boy list.
For MD, I suggest:
Oakland B
Albany
Wake
U Miami
Western MI
Alice Walton
Roseman
Gtown
Loyola
Tufts
Netter
Hofstra
Belmont (reported to have financial issues)

Yep it was Penn state! and yes hispanic. Community service wise I have soup kitchens and food drives where I interacted with diverse people and helped translate for Spanish speaking families which I briefly wrote about in my primary. Also did all my EMTs in a very rural area.

If you live in eastern Paa, add Gerisinger

It would help if you formatted your WAMC profile according to our template.

Are you from Ohio? OU-HCOM significantly favors those from Ohio.
Sorry! adding the template now I rarely use SDN so I'm getting used to it. And I have immediate family in Ohio which is why I applied.
  1. AMCAS( Cum 3.33, Science 3.22) AACOMAS( Cum 3.38, Science 3.49) 3.7 junior year and 3.95 senior year with around 30 credits of A's in all upper level sciences and certain prereqs
  2. One attempt 511(126,127,130,128)
  3. VA resident
  4. Hispanic/white
  5. Virginia Tech
  6. Clinical hours 780 on amcas app, 1000 projected hours. All in a super rural area in southwest VA.
  7. currently doing historical research around 50 hours on AMCAS app
  8. 50 hours shadowing, Cardiology in rural hospital, anesthesiology in a city hospital, psychiatry at a nonprofit and gastroenterology in a private practice.
  9. 100 hours in a food drive and soup kitchen, and 500 hours leading a volunteer group for those unable to afford tutoring at my college.
  10. TA biochem for one semester, TA organic chemistry 2 for one semester, Peer mentor for incoming freshman for one semester, 2k employed hours (landscaping, bartending and restaurant work)
  11. No awards
  12. Other impactful essay include about father with addiction and growing up financially unstable. In addition, growing up in a third world country for a portion of my childhood which I've used for reflections and secondaries.

What do you mean by having immediate family? You did NOT grow up in Ohio? I would have added NEOMED if you grew up in the Appalachian region. I would also consider ETSU, Pikeville, and WVSOM. You did mention not growing up in the United States, so these recommendations come with some hesitation since I don't know how you describe your mission fit.
