Hey all, I am currently "studying" for the GRE. I have the GRE premier 2013 book and have gone through it twice, but I still don't feel ready for it. When I look at the pre-med/pre-dent forums there are many books/programs people use that every tends to recommend. Is there another book or program that seems to be popular for the GRE? Thanks in advance!

i just got magoosh last week. i paid 50 dollars for a 30 day access.it's 100 for one yr i think.

it's very useful especially i just have to watch videos. the math videos are really helpful! and they have practices too and other resources that i find helpful!

I also used the official ETS guide, which describes every possible subject that might appear on the test. I found that Kaplan's premier guide did not cover a few of the quantitative subjects very well, especially the statistics and probability stuff (which showed up a lot on the test). The ETS book gave me a better handle on these subjects. I also used Kaplan's vocab cards and memorized lots of words, which really helped. Mainly, I'd suggest taking full practice tests to build up your endurance and give yourself an idea of where you stand and what you need to work on more.

I would recommend the ETS book and the Magoosh site.

The drawback of the ETS book is that you have to have a PC or Windows on your Mac to use the CD, but I did fine with just the book.

As for Magoosh, it was especially beneficial for math prep.

I did the Magoosh 100 dollar subscription recently. I used it mainly for the verbal section. After about 1.5 months of the most studying I've done in my life I think that it was invaluable. I got a good math score the first time anyways, but the questions on verbal were not ones I was used to. I say buy Magoosh. The other sources are ok, but Magoosh made it easy for me.

For those that don't know who Magoosh is, he is on Youtube, for example. I didn't know he had a website, thanks!
