Recommended place to first shadow?

Would you recommend I begin shadowing at a hospital or larger outpatient clinics (30 patients/day) or smaller "strip-mall" places that are abundant here around my university?

I really want to spend June shadowing podiatrists then D.Os/MDs in July to compare, although both professions are very intriguing.

I understand both, but I was asking which to shadow first. I want to allocate my time for a dedicated visit to a certain location, then switch say after two weeks. Plus for the smaller strip-mall clinics, is the best option to call the front desk person or ask in person? I have found no information on contacting them through their websites. 😕

Go to a busier pactice that invokes surgical procedures often. This will give you the best look at to what podiatry can be. I suggest finding a podiatrist that is attached to a Orthropedic group. Don't go to a basic pod office that is run like a FP office. You may get bored and not see what a podiatrist is capable of. i almost did this when i shadowed a pod the first tiem and the coolest procedure i say was a toe nail clipping.
