Hi folks,
do you know where records about rotations are being kept? Where all the records go? I mean where I can possibly try to get records about my all rotations during residency? What kind of records it's possible to get: where the rotations was, time ( period of time ) and date of the rotations, name of the attending doctor...anything else???

no one knows? That's really harsh. I'm very disappointed. Common guys must be someone who knows.

I don't think we understand your question. Are you asking about rotation schedules during each year of residency?

I agree with Blade...I'm not sure what you are asking.

If you want records of YOUR rotations, etc. that should be fairly easily obtained from your Program Coordinator, if you don't have the records yourself.

If you want someone else's that would be more difficult.

Every program has a coordinator who is responsible for seeing that residents are rotating through the required specialties/services, etc. That person would have the records but someone else's records would not be available to you.

Thank you. Sorry for confusion I meant my own records, of course. Do you know for how long those records are being kept. Is it possible to get it after few years? And again what kind of information these records contain: time, date of rotation, place etc, what exactly, I might need it for court.
Thank you

Wait, do you mean getting information about your med school rotations, while you're in residency? What do you need them for?

Or are you already a resident, looking for information about residency rotations?

Are you being sued? What's the situation here?

Yes Blade, I need to get information about my residency rotations I was making during my residency couple of years ago. Do you know where all the records about rotations possibly go? Who does have such records? Hospitals, residency programs, dean's office or university office? And what information I can find about one rotation like time, date, place, what's possible to find?
Thanks

Sorry, I'm still confused. Are you an attending now? You finished residency a couple years ago, and now want information on the various rotations?

Some of your word choices - "dean's office" and "university office" - confuse me as to what you're looking for. When you're a resident, you don't have a dean anymore (that's in med school).

Furthermore, you're looking for information like "time, date, place" on a given rotation - wouldn't you know that, since you were the one who was working at that time?

I'm very confused. What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? Where are you in your medical training?

Edit: I just saw one of your other threads - does this have to do with the "operating room sheet" issue?

If you need a schedule of the rotations you did in your residency (I think this is what you're asking), ask your residency coordinator. She'll either have the records, or can point you in the right direction.
