Redo vertebroplasty

Patient with L2 fracture earlier this month. Has it cemented. Comes back for worsening pain and fracture has progressed to now 60% loss. I havent seen a fracture progress after vertebroplasty. I don't do these so don't have a lot of experience. Does this happen...maybe they just didn't get the cement in the right place? and can another procedure be done at this level?

I have done a few redos but not with a hx like this. Bone bx to look for infection or met?

Have seen it. Have seen redo kypho. Have not heard if they got paid. Cannot imagine they did.

A question you have to ask yourself is did it collapse after the kypho or did it collapse during the time period between MRI/CT and DOS of the kypho.
