I am sorry moderators if i post it this in the wrong forum. But this seems the most apropriate, since I wasn't able to find an answer by searching. I am looking to do a clinical rotations in september. And was hoping to get a reference letter from it. But not sure if this is too late for the aplication process for residency in US. Does anyone know when is the deadline to submit them? Will I be able to get in time?
Thanks for the help.

If you want to do a clinical rotation in the US and get a reference letter from it, but you still haven't scheduled the clinical rotation in the US, then I would focus on first things first.

1) Schedule a US clinical rotation, preferably one that you've heard of will give recommendation letters.

2) ERAS already went out on Sept. 15th. Assuming you do get a rotation that starts by the first week of October, you won't have it completed until 1st week of november, which would be the earliest you could include it in your residency application. This is a severe disadvantage if you are an IMG.

Here's what I would consider doing - Do MULTIPLE clinical rotations in the US between now and June 2014, getting the best recommendation letters from the biggest names at each location, get all your documents in hand prior to applying, then apply next September 15th.
