References for Americorps?

Has anyone applied for Americorps? I am wondering who should be my references? Would a coworker and my current boss be ok?

Seems like the wrong forum, but to answer your question I just had a random professor I had a class fill out the reference (I applied senior year of college). I would advise against a coworker. I think that you should have someone who was in somewhat of a position of authority of you, and has a high opinion of you.

If you are applying to TFA, I highly recommend you apply to the Schuler Scholar Program. It's an awesome related program (was Americorps-associated until this last year) and a great gap year opportunity

I served a year with AmeriCorps 2016-2017; however, those references are fine as far as I remember. I signed up just after finishing college so my professors acted as my references. Goodluck.
