E. a minimum of three neurons must participate.
The answer is E... why??
I thought a simple reflex arc like the knee jerk is sensory --> spinal cord where it synapses directly with motor neuron to kick knee out.
this is a 2 neuron process..
 
That might also go through the interneuron in the spinal cord. Only thing I could think of.
 
First the information is taken from the sensory neurons to the interneurons and then to motor neurons! Interneurons would make it three!
 
if the question said monosynaptic reflex arc..then it would be only sensory and motor right? should we always include the interneuron unless it specifies monosynaptic? thanks for the help.
