I want to get my app in early. With this test date, I won't get my scores until 7/3. I want mine complete by June but don't want it to hurt me. What should I do?

I'm sitting here with the window open and just need to put my cc# in.

I'm just freaking out right now. Been studying for over two weeks and trying to get a grasp of Physics and Chem 🙁 so I'm just scared that if I write the MCAT and do poorly, then my app will automatically go to theses schools. Will I automatically get rejected?

You can submit your application with one school. This puts you in the verification queue. Once you receive your scores, you can add or not add other schools as seems appropriate. If you've already been verified, your app will instantly go to those schools. If you're still in the queue, it won't change your place there.

It is as if I wrote this thread!! I just registered for my MCAT on Friday for May 24. I'm also studying for the mcat right now...going over physics, gen chem, and now ochem. Im taking a kaplan class. I really hope I get a good enough score to get accepted. Good luck!!! 🙂

Just my two cents....
I was in this same situation - I applied to all my schools June 1st, got my MCAT score back June 30thish, did poorly, had to retake, and then did very well...ended up with several MD acceptances anyway. If I were to re-do things I would submit to just one school to get verified, and then wait to do the rest of my schools until after I got my score.

Definitely apply to one school while you're waiting for your score if you're concerned about not doing well. If you wait until July to apply, you very well may have to wait until the end of the month for your AMCAS to be verified.
