So I am trying to reserve a space but currently there is no available one in the town I would like to take the exam in. But there is a space available in another city about 1 hour away from this town.

Should I...

1) wait until it gets closer to the test date to wait for people to drop out to save 90 bucks or
2) reserve a space in another city about 1 hour away and then switch to this town

Reserve the space now and see if someone drops. You don't want to be taking the test in August cause all the other seats filled up while you were waiting if your original plan was to take it in June.

Yeah, I agree with above. You are going to want to reserve the spot in the city that's 1 hour away and wait and see if anyone drops out of the test in the city that is closer to you.

Yeah reserve a spot now. I had to take it in another state because there were no other spots early enough... And I registered early.

I registered a couple of months ago for a test about an hour from me and just changed it to a center within walking distance of my place. The fee sucks, but I'll be glad on the day of!

Yeah, that will be nice. It really sucked having to spend the night in a sketchy motel... I'm sure it didn't help with whatever test anxiety I had. It also sucked having to drive for four hours after I finished the test.
