A strange dream woke me up last night. I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this happening.

If you area accepted to a school that is full and has a huge wait list. Then the Adcom decideds to reject one of the accepted students to take one from the wait list that will bring the school's stats up.

This woke me up last night because I think my low stats could qualify for this type of switch. Has anyone heard of a student being "switched" to increase the school's accepted MCAT/GPA stats?

School is so close, it was the first bit of doubt I have felt in months. Just can't believe I was accepted and still waiting for that rejection letter, "sorry we made a mistake, but please take this coupon to the bookstore and sticker to our school as a token of our regret."

i never heard of that

That's about as likely as a pre-med who's never cheated or thought of cheating to get ahead.

That actually happened to a kid over in the preallo forum. Well, not the same thing as your dream, but he forgot to send in his acceptance letter once they told him he was in

Whoops.
