So this is my second year in community college. I am a biology major. I applied to UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego.

I got rejected from all of them. What does this mean for me?? Am I not smart enough or what?? I'm seriously trying the best I can, and if I'm not good enough to even transfer to a university.... then what about dental school man?

GPA: 3.7
SCI GPA: 3.5

^ might be a good idea. Also, I don't know if you're willing to go OOS, but a lot of my friends transferred to the school they wanted to go to in high school after 1-2 yrs of CC.

Don't they have transfer agreements? Ie, go to this CC for x-years, take all required lower division courses for that major, maintain x-GPA = guaranteed admission into UC-X?

You can always try applying again next quarter.

I read about this sometime ago... what major are you declaring yourself when transfering? Cause I heard sometimes these California schools have only a set number of students to take in with a specific major.

It's just a competitive year. UCR sent a letter telling they will step up their admission criteria. I got in with a much lower gpa a couple years ago. got in dental school this yr. So if anything, you are smarter and can be in dental school too!

Yeah I have heard this as well...

At my own Uni I tried to get into one major, got rejected, called and changed my app to another major and got accepted the same day lol. Turns out my rejection was an accident due to the school forgetting to update my app, but just goes to show you can get into other majors and be fine. Granted I'm in the FL Uni system not UC or CSU

Oh! Sorry guys it turns out UC San Diego accepted me.... oops. Aghh I thought they rejected me. BTW I have a little over 60 units. Anyways at least one of them let me in.... thanks for all of your advice and encouragement anyways!
