rejected like an ex-girlfriend

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As that annoying girl Annie once said, The sun'll come up tomorrow...

i must admit though, their rejection letter gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside

"let me assure you that not allowing you to continue the admissions process is a loss to this university"

BU pwned me

Yea I walked up to it with a 300 dmg nuke stun and +10 armor and 20% chance for a 2.5x crit strike, +40 to intel and 1200 hp with 4hp/sec regen and it pwned me too with its Ignoring You on your Status Page spell (only 150 mana!!). They totally need to nerf this school its too imba.

For those with rejections, when you guys click on the interview scheduling section, do you get some weird HTML code and an error message? I know mine has to be coming soon.

Good luck with other schools. And if you didn't apply to any other schools..."oops". 😀

actually, its pawned, which is pwned spelled more 1337ly... its also a gaming term, refer to DOTA for warcraft 3 at www.dota-allstars.com

thx, gg
I always thought it was closer to pwned... because it comes from "owned". The pronunciation isn't so much "pahned", it is more like "poned," rhyming with "owned." Least that's what I thought, and I've been playing DOTA for nearly 3 years... so go cry more n00bs.

Unless I am wrong zomg but i am teh d34dly l33tsau|2u$ ReX

well in DOTA, it says, ex: Dr.90210 just pawned eternalrage's head for 200 gold.

"Etymology
The likely beginning of the meme is from the hacker scene on EFnet IRC circa 1994. The use of the word "own" in terms of victory over another predates its use in the gaming subculture. This accounts for the pre-existing proliferation of the word.

The specific term "pwn" is most likely derived from a common misspelling, with no significant event proliferating its use [1][2]. It is assumed that it simply began to spread as a result of fast typing, due to the proximity of the P and O keys on the common QWERTY keyboard layout, and the tendency of gamers and internet users to create and expand internet memes."

("Pawned" has no Wiki article, so it doesn't exist, because we all kno that existence is defined by wikipedia)

Just wait until you dial BU drunk and profess your undying love for her (BU is now officially a girl)...then things will get really awkward.

We should do a poll: Have you been rejected by more girls or more med schools?
