Rejected presecondary and very confused

Hey all. I got rejected presecondary from TUCOM California this morning ("we must regrettably advise you that you currently do not meet our minimum application requirements to qualify for a secondary application") and I'm unsure why.

I have completed all of their prerequisite coursework as specified on their website and just combed through my app to make sure I had coursework correctly designated. I have AP coursework for English and math that IS designated on my undergrad transcript, but I don't know why this would be a limiting factor since their website says that's okay. My MCAT is a 30, my sGPA is 3.73, cGPA is 3.94. Anybody else with a similar experience? I'm kind of terrified that I'm going to get rejected from everywhere else due to some error I'm unaware of???

With your stats there's no way you're below a min requirement. I would call the school and find out why you were rejected so early.

Did you get below a "C" in a pre-req? That's the only thing I could think of...

Hey. I had the same situation. I gave their admissions department a call and the lady checked my file and said she would look into it. Literally 5 minutes later I received another email inviting me to the secondary. I think there was some internal error on their end. I haven't decided if I'm going to submit their secondary after this though. Give them a call and you should receive a secondary invite almost immediately.

Best way is to call the office. From talking to people at some of my interviews, I saw that they sometimes drop the ball. Last year, they failed to send secondaries on a timely manner to several people that would widely be considered competitive. These people had to email them to get secondaries sent. I actually was one person that never got a secondary or any word after my application was sent. I had little interest in the school so I never followed up.

Nope. Lowest was a B in one physics class. Thank you @You're My Boy Blue for such a quick reply

I'm in the same boat, just got an email that I did not meet their minimum requirement when I know I do. What number did you call? I can't seem to find it on their website

Call the regular school number and ask to speak with someone in med school admissions, or email Lynn at [email protected]. I think she was in a meeting or something because I just had to leave a message, but she just replied to my email and is fixing it. Seems like it's happened to a bunch of us today!

Same thing happened to me. I'm hoping it's just an error like yours, I meet the minimums they have on their website.
