Got my second rejection letter from Iowa, as if one wasn't bad enough!!! hah, they lost out

cuz i guess i'm gonna embrace myself with a VCU rejection soon. my AADSAS# is 49xx
ordinarily i wouldn't mind too much (cuz i know i have it coming, having not heard from them)...but i have a pretty stressful 2 weeks coming up...so being prepared for this would be good.

I applied in early July. AADSAS #21xx with stuff sent out to schools in middle August. Sent in my app fee and picture in August as well. No word or update on Infosource (imagine that?) until now.

New Member here; rejected from VCU and Maryland...and couldn't actually apply to any of the other schools!

Maryland rejected me after five days once they received my application. VCU still hasn't officially rejected me, but I went up there for an interview (not for admissions) and I was told I wasn't getting an interview....so there ya go.

Its all good, I'm gonna frame my rejection letters in my practice one day 😎

GPA 3.2 (hopefully much better after this semester)
DAT 16 (no excuses...just didn't study enough)

Yess I can't believe I am starting this thread. I got a nice thin letter from LOMA LINDA. They looked at my file and rejected me, they didn't even wait for my new DAT. i love the line in the letter that states please refer to the website for the gpa and dAT statistics.

3.4 gpa
and 18 dat

I had a
3.3 gpa
19 DAT( new score, old one was a 17)

I could say a whole lot more about this, but it would not be readible because SDN has a now swearing clause, All you would see is """"" !!!!!

I guess Loma Linda is too good for me. Oh well, I always wanted to be the first at something, now I am. First rejection. top that!!!

Infosource:

a web-based communications tool that (1) allows applicants to monitor their application status on one single screen, (2) allows health professions advisors (with permission from their students) to monitor the applications status of their student, and (3) allows admissions officers an enhanced method of communicating with applicants to their dental schools.

I honestly dont know how you got this far in the game and have no clue what infosource is. Are you being sarcastic 😕
If not, here is the website http://infosource.adea.org/
Click on the 2005 hyperlink, enter your AADSAS username and password (the same one you used for your application) and it will display your status to all the schools you have applied to with AADSAS.
You will probably be blown by the amount of info on their at first
But don't worry, when you become addicted to it, it will never update again... EVER

Chill, I am the one with BU acceptance and waiting to hear from Temple, Michigan, Manitoba and Sask. here, I should be worried, or be calling a bank right now.
Let's be happy we got into somewhere, unlike others who are dying for an interview

you got an interview at columbia but got rejected by nyu???? weird! do you have your bachelors degree yet? maybe thats why they rejected you, they only take people who will have graduated with their complete set of credits. hard to believe getting rejected by nyu with 22/22/17 dats..considering ppl get in there with total science scores of 17.

You should definetly call because my friend got someone else's rejection in the mail. The last names were very similar. NYU gets so many applications that there is definetly room for errors once in a while, as grave as they may be.

My dad called and was all excited but I had checked on there website a couple days before and my status was "DENIED" - you'd think they'd phrase it nicer like, "unaccepted" or "on top of the pile of those we didn't accept" or "you're still a great person" or "let's still be friends" or something like that
