Rejection letter?

If a program doesn't accept you or put you on their wait list, will they tell you that you were rejected?

Do you mean for ED? Or in general? I would think that they would.

I heard back pretty quickly from some schools after the application deadline, but some schools didn't tell me anything until after I knew there were interviews/acceptances/waitlists [because I had been following those on this forum that heard information from the school]. They should definitely tell you something, eventually.

When I applied the first time, I knew I was rejected from a few schools because all the interview dates had passed (and I didn't get one), but I didn't get an official rejection email until they sent out acceptances/rejections together after interviews were completed.

Oh man it sounds brutal to keep checking this and not be hearing from a school directly. I might have to block this site for awhile once everything is in and its time to just wait. Otherwise Ill be torturing myself pushing refresh waiting to find out if other people are getting interviews and acceptances
