How quickly does the rejection letters come? Assuming you apply at the earliest possible time.

I have 3.8, and 29M (but 6 in VR).

Do you guys think I won't get rejected until October, when August '04 are released?

I already submitted my application, and I indicated that I am not retaking August MCAT.

they can come early or late. depends on how the admissions office does things. usually rolling schools send them sooner.

The 6 in VR is usually not tolerated well by Admissions Committees, im sorry to say, unless english is your second language or you have other extenuating circumstances. I would have checked off that you were retaking the Aug MCAT, but since you already submitted, i think your best bet would be to write to individual schools (not now, maybe in a few weeks, mid-late July), explaining that your VR was a fluke and you plan to retake in August. This would be the best route to take I believe.

Actually, english is my second language. I learned english when I entered high school for first time.

But still, it is no excuse for such a poor score. I will def. be retaking it in august.

Did you mention this in your PS? You better have! They will see the score and then immediately look at you PS for explanations. I think generally BELOW a 6 is frowned upon. You might still be in great shape. I know a guy who got a 4 in Verbal and still got into Georgetown. It's possible.
