rejection letters

hello sdn. i have a question about rejections from d schools. i have seen applicants who applied later than me get rejected either from snail mail or email or aadsas. why wouldnt they give me any notifications? some school are already done with their interviews. did they even look at my application?

You likely had something going right for you in your application and you weren't placed in the early rejection pile immediately. As long as your application was completed, they looked at it. You will be notified eventually but it is up to the individual school to choose when they want to notify you, you may not receive rejection letters for a few months.

You can always call and ask about the status of your application.

You should contact the schools now to see where you stand. Some might offer you an interview or reassess your file if you show you're still interested.

if thats the case what should I do to increase my chance next year? I am gonna be done with grad school this june (was to increase GPA)? I will definitely redo my PS. I already have extracurricular, shadowing/volunteer hours, research experiences, good DAT score(22)/and committee letter. Any suggestions?

Schools that still haven't reject me:
Marquette ( i received while ago an email stating that my application was put on HOLD)
Howard ( never heard anything)
Stony Brook ( never heard anything)
Tuft ( never heard anything)
UDM ( recently notified me that they will consider me for interview if I send update of transcript/DAT)
I think some schools just dont care about sending rejections!! if you apply next cycle make sure you apply early and maybe call the schools to find out reason why you were rejected, that can help you improve your application...
