hey everyone.. I took the mcat 3 years ago (aug 2002). I had no intention of applying to medical school at that time, and did not prepare for the test at all. I only took it b/c my advisor told me it was best to take it at that time, since all of the material was fresh from college, in case I wanted to apply within the next few years. Unfortunately, i received a 24. I did not release those scores. (At that time, you had a choice whether or not to release). I recently re-took the mcat in april after much preparation. I was getting 29-33 on practice exams. I'm hoping for a 30 on the real thing. my question - should i release my old scores too, or just go w/ my new one? any advice would be great. thanks!

I took it August 1999, and got a 30. I'll release it - hopefully I did the same or better. If you did much better, then I would think it would be advantageous.
