Have you even talked to your current district pharmacy supervisor yet? That is step one really. Basically, you need a district that will take you. If you have a way connect to a supervisor in Texas, which I assume is where you are going, then you might limit your current supervisor's involvement. But it kind of helps, like a lot, if your current guy introduces you to someone there. Most of the 'paperwork' is done by the incoming district. If you are trying to limit your off work time, then yes, you bridge it with PTO/vacation etc.

Edit... The only time that I heard of relocation expenses covered is when CVS was trying to 'fix' DC area and recruited some of their pharmacists to move. I don't know the details but I think they paid some expenses. But unless you are moving in high demand area in TX, I doubt that will happen for you.

Want to move to Cali? I'll give you the pdm's number. We have tons of openings 😛

Is there still tons of OT in Cen-cal ? People be saying its dried up but I suspect 200K is still doable in 99 corridor. I would need to reciprocate though

It's available for a another year or two at least. 200k last year on pace for 220k this year. The CHSU school will saturate things here really fast tho.

Does anyone know how staying with CVS on a prn basis work as far as benefits? For example, are you still able to purchase health insurance through the company? How often are you required to work?

Said correctly. 200K around the 99! Kept this pay grade for past 4 years. Every chain hires a bunch but everyone bounces after one or two years because they pay off their loans. I'm sure I can maintain this salary for another five years easily.

same in my area, people taking 20-30k pay cuts to move to bigger cities. The biggest mistake of my career was not getting the Calif lic on exam/score transfer. I have to work so much extra hours here in the south just to hit 180K, OT is only reg +6. I cut back due to this
