Removing LORs

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
How do you remove an LoR from ERAS??

Don't assign them to schools and no one will see it. If you already assigned them, and a school has "retrieved" it from the post-office, then it's too late.

Thanks for the reply. I've already assigned the letter(s) and most schools have retrieved them. It's OK.. theyre not bad letters, at least I hope not!!

I changed around my fourth year schedule and am doing more EM rotations and will have EM standardized letters of recommendation instead. So I just want to replace my letters.. it's not too late to do this is it?

I think you may have to contact the programs to ask about submitting your other LORs. Some of the websites list emails to which you can send additional supporting documents, so that might be what you have to do. I don't think you can replace ones that were already retrieved, as humbledoc has already indicated. Sorry. I would imagine programs would understand, and if you indicated to the coordinator what happened it would probably get sorted out.

It's OK. I potentially overassigned letters to only 5 or so programs.. just a few emails to sort it out then. Thanks for the help.
