wait, what you're saying doesn't make sense. THE SECOND INSTITUTION DOESN'T AWARD CREDIT FOR REPEATED. How would they even know its repeated

Attended second institution as second degree transfer so that I could receive financial aid during DIY post-bac.

I have searched these forums extensively but have not found a solution to my question.

I took a PreCalc course originally listed as "Grade: C, Credit Earned: 4 semester hours" on my transcript.

I repeated the PreCalc course at a different institution. The course says "4 semester hours" in the description and I received a "listed grade: A-" but the second institution doesn't award credit for repeat courses. On my unofficial transcript it says "Repeat with permission- Exclude Credit and GPA" so that I have 0 credit hours earned.

Will this course still be listed as a repeat by AACOMAS even though the second University awarded me 0 credit hours and just the grade?

When you transfer your transcripts from one institution to another, your new school isn't going to consider it a repeat since you didn't take it there. Just like the original class and all of the courses you transferred over aren't calculated into your GPA at the school you transferred to. I went to like 6 undergraduate schools. Trust me on this. Haha.

For example, the first college I ever attended, I left after a semester with like a 0.09 GPA. Then went on to all of the other colleges. When I went back to the first college, where I ended up satisfying my pre-reqs in recent years, I had to be on academic probation for a semester while I retook the classes I had originally failed there 10 years earlier, because they were still considering my 0.09 GPA, even though I transferred in a 3.6 undergrad degree and 4.0 masters.

As for AACOMAS, yes they will count it as a repeat as long as it adheres to the ususal repeat rules... credits, description, etc.
