Do you recommend I retake college algebra to replace that C. I'm also thinking about it because I took that class over 8 years ago and I'm just getting back into school now taking my chems and bios so it might help to refresh myself and get ready for calc.

What do you guys think?

Grade replacement only works in D.O.

Thanks for the response. I need to fill a 3 credit elective regardless so would someone recommend I take a pre-calc with algebra before diving into upper division chems and calc?

It depends- If that C in algebra 8 yrs ago is reflective of your current algebra knowledge, I think it is worth retaking. Chem and physics will have algebra for you to work with and you don't want to worry about learning the math when you should be focusing on the scientific principles

Should I retake it or take a pre-calc w/ algebra to get ready for calc and all my chems. It would fill the last elective I need for my aa

If you are ready for it, yeah, sounds good. That way it is a different class and counts as another grade and I think precalc covers trig which you will need in physics
