You need, my friend, to rethink why you want to go to med school. Maybe it's for all the wrong reasons. Anyone male or female can do a pelvic exam. What's really important to you? Doing a female exam or being a doctor because you really like medicine and want bad as hell to be a doctor? What's Your real reason? Above all, what have I got to do with it?

Basically I want to go to med. school because I am intrigued by the human body, I try to employ empathy when dealing with people, i value life and life experience, I place high value on job satisfaction, I enjoy testing myself, I am not sexist or racist, and subscribe to the notion that we all bleed when we are cut. Janice, my friend , I engaged you merely because I honestly think you have been hurt by a male and/or a male member of the medical profession and I believe you need help. Your views on male OB/GYNS are ridiculous. But please..what would I know..I only have two sisters who are midwives and another who is an ER nurse and they all concur. They respect all the physicians they work with, male and female. In which regard I refuse to believe you are a medical professional, although I do believe you could benefit substantially from visiting one. Regards....
