I was wondering what everyone thinks about replying to post-interview correspondence. I've received "ranked to match" emails saying "we'd love to hear from you." I'd personally prefer not to respond to these emails given that what they really want to hear from me is "you're my number one." I've received conflicting advice from my mentors. Some have said I don't need to respond at all. Some have said I should feel free to say whatever I want. Any opinions?

I replied to them in January with non-committal emails, well because I hadn't figure out my list yet anyways.

At this point, they have finalized their list, and you probably finalized your list. I would reply if it is you're #1. If not, I don't think they would rank you lower for not replying, assuming they actually want to you in the first place.
