What's the procedure for reporting GRE scores to medical school (not in lieu of MCAT, but as supplementary information)? Can they be officially listed in the primary application, will it involve having the testing agency send out official reports, or must it be an informal process of personally photocopying and sending? Thanks!

The AMCAS gives you the opportunity to self-report your GRE scores.... I added mine, just for fun. You don't need to have anything sent to AMCAS, so obviously I really doubt they carry any weight in this process.

You can list it on the primary. I listed mine, but they were never brought up by med schools, nor was I asked submit verification.

you just enter it on AMCAS, but no there's no verification of your scores...mine came up in an interview because i did really well on GRE math but had an awful multivariable calc grade cuz i never went to class! 🙄 i did quite well on the GRE though, and i figure it may have added a tiny something to my app, though i doubt it carried a lot of influence...

cool. thanks everybody. as proof, i will probably photocopy the official report as well and send it in as supplementary material.
