Requested data from the AAMC...

I requested a Native American only gpa and MCAT grid, and their response was something along the lines of "we do not have data for Native American only students because we do not compile data with n<5."

How can that be? Are there REALLY less than 5 Native American applicants to MD schools? That's ABSURDLY low.

What are the implications of that for Native American admission chances?

Well, if there's so few Native American applicants that AAMC doesn't even track them, then I'm sure you would be considered as a URM.

I believe that they mean to say where there would be less than 5 subjects in each cell. I presume you wanted the data on Table 24 (# of applicants and matriculants by MCAT and GPA).
