I requested my last transcript (sophomore year of HS class that I forgot about) on May 23rd through snail mail. Has anyone had any experience with requesting the transcript around Memorial Day and if there was a big lag? Really stressing out over making sure I am verified for first batch.

There might be a lag if that school recently finished a term and the Registrar has a lot of outgoing transfers.

Can you call and ask where your request might be in the queue?

I had one mailed to me as well and received it either last Friday or Saturday. That was NY to NY - I'm curious about NY to DC

The extra time in mailing might be 2-3 days on the post office's end. However, it all depends on the school's schedule and the ability to send things out.

That seems pretty reassuring that the transcript was sent on its way to AMCAS, has probably been received by now, and is waiting to be checked in.

As of June 4, AMCAS is:
Marking transcripts as "Received" that were delivered on May 31.
Processing applications that reached "Ready for Review" on May 31.
