The first semester of my freshman year I took an english class called Honors Composition that was 4 hrs of credit. Since I took it with honors it was quite a bit more intensive. The school gives us 4 hrs of credit, but they allow the honor composition class to satisfy the graduation requirements of both English 101 and 102. Will Medical schools honor this also, or do I need to take another semester of English to get the 8 hrs that medical say are entry requirements? 😎

This is my experience,

If the credit shows on your transcript, then most schools will credit it to their requirements. To be on the safe side, you should take a course that requires writing. These can be in your major or in humanities, and will many times count for that semester of english you might need.

Good luck
