I'm currently a biology major at Ohio State and would like to stay here for grad school, although I am going to be applying broadly.

Currently, OSU requires two quarters of physics OR one quarter of physics and one quarter of physiology. Starting in the 2009 cycle (which will include me), physiology will be requires while Physics II will not be required.

Is this a common trend at other schools, or should I take physics II and physiology just to be safe?

you MUST take physics 2 for almost all of the other 50 or so schools.....good luck at OSU...i have my interview in a few weeks!!

You should research all the possible schools you plan on applying to and find their requirements. A lot of schools still do require physics. 🙂
