🙂 hello. am a medical graduate from india, will soon be giving my USMLE steps, and am interested in applying to psych programs.. what background do they look for in students they choose...i.e how important is research work and clinical experience? or does it effectively burn down to your USMLE scores? what percentile/score is deemed good for a top end psych residency(among those generally available to img's? any idea?
basically how can i strenthen my candidature?
one more doubt.. i plan to do a program in public health.. vis a vis psych, what is the best MPH i can pursue? i liked the content of some 'health promotion sciences' MPH/MS offered bycertain public health schools... is it more relavant? or is it safer to stick to biostatistics/epi?
do guide me.. it shall be of great help
