I've was offered an interview in a UCC and accidentally chose an interview date a week later than I intended. I emailed/called them, and was able to resolve my error.

Another site has confirmed me with a phone interview, but I think I may need to reschedule as I may be in transit that day.

Does rescheduling interviews reflect badly on me? Will it lessen my chances?

I guess I'm super concerned that anything I do/do wrong might negatively impact my chances.

Not calling or showing up at the right time would be worse :) If you need to do it just do it, and be appropriately apologetic for the inconvenience (they are scheduling many interviews, so rearranging the plans they already set up is certainly inconvenient for them) as well as appreciative both after the request and in the interview.

That being said, if you've already made this error twice you need to sit down with a dayplanner and write everything down so you don't make it again.
