Rescheduling MCAT--need advice please

I originally signed up to the take the MCAT on July 16 but I am not ready to take it and planning to reschedule. I am deciding between taking it August 13 or August 19. I know I am going to be a late applicant so would taking it on August 13 versus August 19 make any real difference? I would prefer to take it on the 19th but I can also do the 13th if the 19th would be much too late.

I don't really think there's a discernible difference between the two dates--so take it on the 19th if you really think that you could use the extra six days for prep. In either case, be sure to submit your primary app as soon as possible, even if that is before your scores arrive.

MCAT date is fine either way. But, as stated above, be sure to get your primary app submitted ASAP

I am taking it at that time as well, and i'm applying this cycle. I think if you have a better score rather than an earlier score it will be better in the long run. Good luck!

So if your taking the August MCAT you should submit your primary to all the schools your interested in even with a bad previous MCAT? I'm taking the Kaplan course now and I'm seeing big improvments.
