I have to agree with the previous posters, but in my case my research experience was, in my opinion, a big factor in me getting in. My gpa wasnt stellar, my pcat was ok (ok for not studying for it) and I don't have any pharmacy experience, but I have done research in pharmacology and drug development for several years. Every interview I went to ended with a pretty heavy discussion on my research projects and techniques/instruments I have used.
Just a note...Im sure this is well known, but it is easy to get reserach exp if you really want it. Just search around and see waht research is being done at your school and if any of it is interesting to you send an email to the prof to meet her/him. The majority of labs can use a few extra hands, esp if only for a few hours a week.
