Is it a good idea to take more than 6 credits of research getting A's in all of them? I already took two semesters, but i m thinking not signing up for research credits for next semester fearing that the adcom may not like these 'easy' As.

So is it good idea for me to continous doing research for credit or just do it without?

ive taken one research class. and it was for NON credit but thats only bcoz my school doesnt have sophomore research class for credits. i cant really say if its good or bad. im still a noob at this whole dental thing.

As an undergrad I had about 20 units of research and now as a grad student I have 20 units as well, and they are A's. They dont really care IMO. As long as you get good grades in your other classes, and this isnt a "Make Up" portion for your gpa

I say go for it...I have 36 research credits all A's- with that 3 publications...

It can only help you, but make sure to take some "hard" classes along with it so it wont seem that you only did research..I don't know if your school let you ,but try to take over 18 credits so you wont be behind your schedule....That's what I did and it worked fine...g-luck

anyone do research over the summer?
im applying to them now. but it kind of gets in the way of my application process.

i did...10 week REU (Research Experience for Undergrads) program at a biological station...since i was going to be on a mountain all summer starting may 30, it forced me to study for and take the DAT and also complete my aadsas before i went..kept me ahead of the game 😀
