Are there any research grants available for post-graduates doing unpaid research internships? I am taking gap years and I think it would be better to have some research awards that might help look like I was doing something meaningful. I've seen that by obtaining grants PIs usually pay attention to your project since they know there needs to be some outcome out of it under your name in order to produce a viable poster at the least.
