Either a short synopsis of research or bullets for research topics. What do you think is better for a vitae? Research-oriented of course.

CV's in general should not be too lengthy. Even for a research oriented CV, it is best to put down several key elements:
- institution
- dates
- principal investigator
- one (maybe two if absolutely needed) sentence synopsis of your work.

You can use your essays to go way more into detail. Then when you interview at programs, you'll go into even more excruciating detail.
 
just copy my cv, it'll save you a lot of time.

after all, it did and will win me countless national awards.
