Research program application: what to list under relevant experience?

This is an ecological research program, and it deems relevant experience to be lab research, work experience, or outdoor experience and interests. I put down my previous lab research, my scientifically-relevant ECs, and my volunteer work (since I don't have work experience). I'm not really sure what anyone would put for outdoor experience--yes, I've been outdoors? And I'm not sure if "interests" refers to only outdoor interests or interests in general. Should I include ECs that aren't science related, such as debate team?
