Okay this may sound like a dumb question.

What do you exactly do in a research program? My university invited me to a couple, but I'm not sure how much time I will be spending in it, nor how difficult it will be.

Are they paid? Are they easy?

Thanks

For undergraduate research, look into the faculty page and see which project interests you more. Then e-mail the professor about it.

The professor would usually assign a Ph.D student to guide you in doing research.

My friends and I usually spend 12 - 15 hours per week in lab. Plus writing monthly report at my spare time.
