I'm an incoming MS-1, and just have a random question about undergrad research as it pertains to Residency application. I have 3 publications that were all submitted at the end of undergrad, one just got published, and 2 are in for editing still. So by the time they are all published one will have been published just before MS-1 and the other 2 will have been published during MS-1. Is this something that will benefit me for residency or no?
I'm planning on doing other research during med school but just curious.
Thanks!

IMO a pub is a pub and belongs on your CV. However, your undergrad pub should be at the bottom of a list of others that you have since done. They want to see that you've done more, and more recently, but I can't think of any reason to not include them.

Congrats on having your hard work pay off!

Agree with person above. Research publications are forever in the medical field.

CVs should be put in order of most recent things done to least, this gives it the greatest impact. So they will see how productive you have been from your undergrad years to more recent years.

Awesome! That's great because I didn't have them done when I applied to medical school so it didn't help me there, so I was worried they would be "lost" in importance with residency. Awesome that I'll be able to do that!
