VCOM has DO/PhD program!!! its just an extra year! you should check it out.

as far as research opportunities i do not know. but i do know pcom has alot of research going on. especially some omm type research

I doubt you'll end up hearing from enough people to get a good feel for the opportunities at all schools. Pick a few of your top prospects and tear their websites apart, looking for this info. It'll be good exposure and practice for the infamous "Why this school?" essay question found in many secondaries, anyway. 👍

Here is a link you can go and see what NIH grants were awarded to each institution for the last 3 years and what department of the institution received it.

Aside from that when I interviewed at CCOM the Dean told us they were the #1 funded DO school in the country....

KCUMB is trying to become a research school, so there are opportunities there for sure.
